Exterior
The i40's exterior is the ideal place to showcase our 'New Thinking' philosophy. The signature hexagonal front grille combines with sharp creases and flowing lines on the bodywork which are designed to represent the form of undulating sand dunes, and you may also spot the attractive curved rear window line, a shape that was influenced by classic Korean architecture.



LED Lights
The front of the all new i40 incorporates LED daytime running lights, so it stands out straight away. Further back, we've crafted a unique sloping roof-line to create a distinctive side profile, while three strips of LED tail lights add an eye-catching quality to the car's rear.

Panoramic Sunroof
On our Premium model we've incorporated a sophisticated panoramic sunroof with electric tilt and slide function. So, while the car's exterior is undoubtedly striking the view from inside is just as impressive.

Space & Comfort
The Style and Premium models feature dual zone climate control to give you complete control over the interior environment. To ensure maximum comfort, both these models include an electrically-adjustable driver seat with ten different directions of movement with the Premium also offering a function that memorises your favourite position.

In the i40 Premium, both driver and passenger benefit from heated front seats while the optional Comfort Pack includes ventilated front seats which gently stream air through the cushions to keep you cool.

Blue Drive
Our innovative Blue Drive technologies take efficiency one step further. For example, the eco drive indicator shows you the best time to change gear to reduce fuel consumption; while Intelligent Stop & Go switches off the engine when you stop and restarts it when you want to go.

Blue Drive models also feature an active air flap, which closes automatically to improve aerodynamics when engine cooling is not required. These technologies work together to lower CO2 emissions to just 113 g/km on the Blue Drive 1.7 CRDi 115PS engine and achieve a combined 65.7 MPG.
